A Trading Outpost for Pirates and Adventurers
Pirate's Bay Market is an 856-piece pirate building set designed for adult builders, maritime collectors, and fans of detailed coastal scenes. The compact three-level structure combines a busy harbor market, an armory, a lookout tower, hidden treasure-map storytelling, and interactive defensive features.
Wine barrels, fruit crates, weapons, wanted posters, a rotating telescope, and firing turrets fill the building with activity, creating a complete pirate settlement within a display-friendly footprint.
Where Every Voyage Begins
At the edge of the bay stands a market where pirates, merchants, sailors, and treasure hunters exchange more than ordinary supplies.
The ground floor is crowded with barrels and fresh provisions. Weapons are stored upstairs for crews preparing to return to sea, while the lookout above watches for approaching ships and unwanted visitors.
Hidden inside the market wall is one fragment of a mysterious treasure map. It is only one quarter of the complete route—but in a pirate harbor, even a small piece of a map can start a dangerous adventure.
Three-Level Pirate Building
Each floor represents a different part of life inside the harbor settlement.
First Floor — Market: Modular stalls, wine barrels, fruit crates, supplies, and a treasure-map fragment hidden in the wall.
Second Floor — Armory: Swords, rifles, wanted posters, and equipment for pirates preparing for their next voyage.
Third Floor — Lookout: A rotating telescope and defensive turrets overlooking the surrounding bay.
Interactive Lookout and Defense
The telescope can rotate to survey different directions, while the upper turrets add an active defensive role to the market tower.
These movable features help transform the model from a static coastal building into a functioning pirate outpost.
11 Printed Elements
The set includes 11 printed elements with no stickers required. Printed signs, symbols, and environmental details provide a cleaner finish and strengthen the atmosphere of the pirate market.
Connect the Pirate Story
Pirate's Bay Market can be displayed together with Cliffside Broken Mast Cabin to create a larger coastal pirate settlement.
One set represents the busy trading center of the bay, while the other expands the story into a remote cliffside hideout built around the remains of a broken ship.

This Pirate shipwreck model kit is time consuming and tedious work. But it's a nice gift for someone who likes building and putting together model cars or block sets together The set includes all the pieces you'd need: pirate bar with complete wine barrels, cocktail counters, vintage nautical posters, and steering wheel, vintage gramophone, treasure map, deer skull wall hanging, and panoramic windows, LED Lighting, adjustable rotating ship wheels, firing cannon mechanism. It is a ideal gift for anyone someone who paints model cars or collectors.
This brand never disappoints! Every project has a lot of personality, great-quality bricks, and excellent instructions. This one is no exception.
This kit allows you to build a pirate-themed tavern. The project has tons and tons of details, and these details lend personality and keep the build interesting and enjoyable. You never feel like you're just doing the same thing over and over-- there's a lot of variety, and it's so much fun to build a story around the details as you assemble them. You build a tavern cobbled together out of a wrecked pirate ship, and it sits on blue water. The front is solid, and the back has a cutaway view that allows you to see the inside scenes.
The bricks are excellent quality. They've got great colors, and the colors are all even. The bricks are well-made, with no warping. They fit together really well and hold together solidly. They're smooth to the touch. One particularly nice thing is that the graphics are printed on-- no stickers or decals! I always view that as a mark of excellent quality.
The instruction manual is truly great, and other brands should take notes. It's a very large size, with a true binding. It will lie flat, so you don't have to grab random objects to prop it open. Every single step is perfectly illustrated. Every step tells you how many of which type of brick you need. There's even a chart in the front that shows you the actual brick color and the color as it's represented in the manual. That's so helpful, particularly when a build involves multiple shades of the same color (ie, multiple browns). The bricks are in numbered bags, and the bags correspond to steps in the manual, so you thankfully don't have to dump out all the pieces at once.
The box closes back up easily, which means you can tuck everything away if you take a break in the building process. The lighting assembly is included, and so is a brick separator (always appreciated!).
At just over 1,300 pieces, this is a project you can sink your teeth into, but it's not so huge that it's all-consuming. The project is suitable for teens and adults; they'll have no difficulty with this project and will enjoy it. Younger kids will be able to build with adult supervision (particularly for trickier parts, like the roofs, where you do have to be careful with assembly).
This is a great kit from a great brand.
I had a great time building this pirate-themed tavern, and it turned into one of the most eye-catching display models in my collection.
The first thing I appreciated was that every decorative element is printed. There are no stickers to apply, which keeps the finished model looking much cleaner and makes the build more enjoyable.
The design is packed with creative details. I really like the concept of a tavern built above the water, with the overturned ship forming part of the roof. The transparent blue water around the base gives the model a vibrant coastal feel, and every room is filled with carefully designed details. The brick-built chandelier is one of my favorite features. It looks surprisingly realistic and fits the pirate theme perfectly. The bar is stocked with printed bottles, barrels, mugs, a menu, wanted posters, and other tiny accessories, while the furnished upper rooms and hidden treasure chest in the boat reward you for taking a closer look from every angle.
The included lighting kit is another highlight. The warm LEDs create a cozy tavern atmosphere and bring the interior to life without being overly bright. The battery box is hidden neatly on the upper floor, so it doesn't distract from the finished display.
The build itself was enjoyable overall, but I did run into a few issues. The large 8脳16 plate used around Step 127 was noticeably warped right out of the box. It took extra effort to assemble, and after placing the completed second floor onto the first floor, the warped plate caused a slight height difference that required additional pressure to align everything properly.
Around Step 106, the connection between the torch's lower bar and the torch holder was extremely loose. I ended up removing the lower bar because it wouldn't stay in place securely.
Another thing I noticed was around Step 182. The instructions show the LED wire being routed underneath bricks, but I felt that would put unnecessary pressure on such a thin wire over time. Instead, I routed the wire along the outside of the structure. It isn't quite as clean visually, but I felt it was a safer solution for the wiring and gave me more peace of mind.
Overall, this was a very enjoyable build with a lot of personality. Even with a few minor quality control and instruction-related issues, the finished model is packed with charm and looks fantastic on display. The creative architecture, detailed interior, beautiful water effects, brick-built chandelier, and the clever use of an overturned ship make this one of the more memorable pirate-themed building sets I've built.
I was very excited for this set. Overall it is very cool and has lots of details. I got this for my 8 year old and it was a good level of challenging for him.
The reason for the 3 stars is because of the last section. It is terrible build design. You can see in the instructions that the one base piece is attached only with a single point on the base and a flat piece across the top. This is meant to hold the entire second floor together. My son built it twice to have it fall apart when trying to complete. I tried to help him to see if he was missing something but I also put it together 3 times to have it fall apart when you try and finish it. Very bad design. It is easy to fix if you have Lego pieces. You can beef it up yourself but this is not how it should be.
The lights are also a cool touch but they are very difficult. We definitely broke 3 of the lights trying to put them on. It is not easily fixed.
Overall very cool build and I had high hopes.
Bricks are excellent quality, fit together and stay together well, and the color is even over same colored pieces. No missing or excessive extra pieces. All decorations were printed on the brick, not stickers.
Instructions are clear and easy to follow, well illustrated, contain stud counts for identifying the correct pieces, and contain another bonus story to go along with the set.
This set is a bar made out of a shipwreck with multiple floors and detailed rooms inside. Tables, chairs, food, wanted posters, even part of a treasure map in a hidden room. Iambrick continues to make great sets at a reasonable price point.
This isn't an exceptionally difficult set to put together and should probably be okay for slightly experienced builders with a parent on standby to help out.
