The Defensive Entrance to the Orc Stronghold
Bonefire Gate is a 1,279-piece dark-fantasy building set designed for adult builders, orc collectors, and fans of tribal fortifications. The model combines two rugged watchtowers, a gear-operated gate, a suspended rope bridge, a working catapult, bone decorations, fire elements, weapons, tribal signs, and an orc war drum.
Flames, bones, rough timber, hanging structures, and defensive mechanisms create the appearance of a stronghold assembled by an orc tribe preparing for war.
The Gate of the Red Pyre Clan
At the entrance to Gravehowl Gorge stands the defensive gate of the Red Pyre Clan. Every traveller entering the territory must pass beneath its bones, banners, and elevated watchtowers.
The gate is more than a physical barrier. Its flames represent the ancestral fire of the tribe, while the bones mounted across the structure serve as warnings to enemies approaching the stronghold.
When the war drum sounds, the main gate rises, the rope bridge fills with warriors, and the catapult is moved into position beside the entrance.
Gear-Operated Tribal Gate
Turn the gear mechanism to raise or lower the main entrance. The working gate adds movement to the structure while recreating the defensive operation of an orc stronghold.
Lower the gate to protect the settlement or raise it as warriors and supply wagons return from the surrounding wasteland.
Working Mobile Catapult
The included catapult can be moved independently and is capable of launching projectiles.
Position it outside the gate as part of the outer defense, move it between the watchtowers, or display it separately as an orc siege weapon.
Suspended Rope Bridge
A rope bridge connects the two elevated watchtowers, allowing guards to move above the entrance without leaving their defensive positions.
The suspended structure gives the model additional height and reinforces the rough, improvised engineering of the orc tribe.
Orc War Drum
The detailed war drum occupies an important place inside the stronghold. Its sound signals approaching danger, gathers the warriors, and raises the morale of the tribe before battle.
Weapons and Tribal Details
The gate includes an orc weapon rack, tribal notice board, bones, totems, hanging decorations, flames, banners, and rugged wooden structures.
These smaller elements create the appearance of an active defensive settlement rather than an empty gate façade.
Build the Complete Orc Stronghold
Bonefire Gate can be combined with Bonefire Shrine to create a larger tribal scene. The gate represents the military entrance and outer defense, while the shrine expands the setting with ritual spaces, ancestral symbols, and the spiritual leadership of the tribe.
