The Western Stronghold of Nest City

Nest City Azurelight Hall is a 2,668-piece medieval fantasy fortress building set designed for adult builders, castle collectors, and fans of detailed modular architecture. The model recreates a battle-damaged stronghold undergoing defense and reconstruction after a major attack on the Roland Federation.

With its blue-roof towers, damaged walls, functional gate, working stone elevator, layered rooms, and 180° foldable structure, Azurelight Hall combines a complete medieval fortress scene with the visual storytelling of a kingdom rebuilding after war.

After the Battle

The western walls of Nest City have survived the attack, but victory has left deep scars across the fortress. Broken stonework, damaged defenses, and exhausted soldiers reveal the cost of protecting the Roland Federation.

While knights continue to guard the gate, builders and repair soldiers work throughout the stronghold. Stones are raised to the upper walls, damaged sections are reinforced, and the command hall prepares for whatever may come next.

180° Foldable Fortress

The modular structure can be opened or closed for two different display experiences.

Open Mode: Reveals the complete multi-level interior, courtyard, working areas, and damaged sections.

Closed Mode: Forms a complete fortress exterior with towers, defensive walls, and a more compact footprint.

Interactive Defense and Reconstruction

Turn the mechanism to operate the gear-driven lifting gate and recreate the entrance defense of a medieval stronghold.

A working stone elevator can raise building materials between levels, bringing the fortress reconstruction story to life and adding movement to the finished model.

A Complete Castle Ecosystem

The interior includes multiple connected areas representing both military defense and everyday castle life:

Grand Hall
Defensive Towers
Central Courtyard
Damaged Walls
Command Room
Treasury
Tavern

These areas create a layered medieval environment where soldiers defend the kingdom, commanders plan their next move, and workers restore the fortress.

Exclusive Fortress Characters

The set includes three original character types:

Repair Soldier
Builder Soldier
Knight

Together, they represent the people responsible for protecting and rebuilding Azurelight Hall after the battle.

Build a Larger Nest City

Azurelight Hall can connect with Nest City Azure Throne to create a larger Roland Federation display. One set represents the royal heart of the kingdom, while the other represents its battle-tested western defense.

A substantial medieval castle with excellent printed details

This is a fun and substantial medieval build that delivers both presence and personality. The castle features a satisfying variety of rooms and architectural styles, giving it the soaring, layered look that makes classic fortress builds so enjoyable. Dynamic elements like the broken wall add a sense of story and encourage imaginative play, making the model feel alive rather than static.

One standout detail is the use of all printed parts. There are forty two printed elements in this set, and every one of them is clean, sharp and sticker free. It is a welcome touch that elevates the overall presentation. The set is well packed in numbered bags, the components are good quality, and the instructions are well illustrated and paced, creating a smooth and engaging build experience from start to finish.

Whether displayed as a centerpiece or used for play, this castle is a delightful addition to any collection of medieval builds, modular architecture or fantasy castles.

Great way to quickly build up a castle layout

This set is branded iambrick, a brick brand that I familiar with. Ie built about 4 of their sets and have always enjoyed the set designs, overall presentation and brick quality. I was a little wary about ordering this set because one of their other castle sets (word of Holy Spirit Castle had problems with the scale and didn quite work with minifigures (the model was too small). I happy to see that this set is better scaled to figures, and actually includes 3 custom figures of iambrick own design. I appreciate that effort, tho custom-design figs will always be polarizing since we all so used to Lego minifigures. The set has interior details with an open-back style and is hinged so you can open it up to 180 degrees or closed up as a square, enclosed castle. Decorations are prints (not stickers). The parts are made by Go Bricks, come in numbered bags, and use familiar part colors/designs. The instruction book has a premium feel with matte-cover, perfect bound with generous step pacing that should be easy for most builders to follow. On some other iambrick sets I had trouble telling the difference between dark blue and black, a problem that is not as prevalent in this set because the set avoids the use of too many parts that are too close together on the color spectrum. At the current price of around $100 it is a good value for the bulk of castle you get and the large piece count.

Move Over Big Brands

Move over Lego. This Iambrick Castle blows Lego out of the water in so many ways. The brick quality of this set is exceptional. The colors are consistent and the clutch of the pieces are smooth and firm. All ofthe pieces with designs on them are pre-printed, so there are no stickers in the set! Always a plus. The design of this castle set is exquisite. It can be displayed unfolded with an open back so that the interior spaces are easily accessible, or it can be folded together at the hinge location as a more modular like castle. The instructions for the set are very well illustrated and easy to follow. I had no issues during assembly. The set has a couple of mechanical moving pieces that are a fun addition. These include the castle gate that has a turn knob to raise and lower it and a crane that can raise and lower stones from the ground to the top of the castle. The set also comes with three mini-figures. These characters have bios in the instruction book that really adds to the immersion of the set. I like the design of these mini-figures. I know many people are dedicated to Lego mini-figures and aren鈥檛 open to others, but I really like the design of these. Some other alternative brands have their own mini-figure designs, but I think these are toward the top of the alternative brand mini-figures. You really can go wrong with this set. It is significantly less expensive than Lego and the quality and design is just as good, if not better.

An Epic Build for Medieval and Fantasy Fans

This is one of those building sets where the finished model is impressive enough that I would happily display it even if I hadn't built it myself. The ruined medieval castle design is fantastic, with towers, crumbling walls, vegetation, banners, a portcullis, and all sorts of little architectural details that give it a convincing sense of age. It looks like an actual location rather than just a generic toy castle.

At 2,668 pieces, this is a substantial project and there is plenty going on throughout the build to keep it interesting. I especially love the asymmetrical, partially ruined design because it creates so many little areas to explore visually. The folding structure is clever too, allowing you to change how the castle is displayed rather than being stuck with one configuration. The included figures add some life to the scene without distracting from the architecture.

I am genuinely impressed by this one. It's dramatic, detailed, slightly mysterious, and looks fantastic once assembled. If you enjoy medieval architecture, fantasy settings, or elaborate building sets that become display pieces afterward, this is an absolute winner.

Storming the Nostalgia Citadel

picked up this massive medieval fortress to satisfy my inner dungeon master, and it completely delivered on that vintage fantasy vibe. The sheer level of architectural detail is wild, featuring folding modular walls that let you open up the keep like a campaign map to stage miniature tabletop skirmishes. Slapping these bricks together felt exactly like grinding for legendary raid gear, except the final payoff is a gorgeous, solid display piece sitting on my desk.
he brick clutch is tight, the build logic flows smoothly, and the little minifigures look entirely ready to defend the realm from a rogue dragon. It is a fantastic nostalgic trip for anyone who hoards fantasy books or misses the old-school building eras. By the time I snapped the final tower piece into place, my inner geek was thoroughly satisfied.

Iambrick does buildings right!

I've have been really impressed with iambrick building building sets. This castle keeps that amazement alive, as they did it again! Another week designed, fun to build set. The instructions are easy to follow, with some complicated parts, but all of it is fun! They printed parts are really good quality, and the bricks are great as well. Take your time, enjoy this build, it ends up being pretty large when it is done.

Excellent castle build with premium presentation, but weak scaffolding

This is an iambrick-branded set, and I familiar with the brand after building about 2 of their other sets. I e generally enjoyed their set designs, presentation, and brick quality, and this one mostly continues that trend.

I was a little wary before ordering because one of their other castle sets, word of Holy Spirit Castle, had some scale issues and didn really work well with minifigures because the model felt too small. Thankfully, this castle is better scaled for figures and actually includes three custom figures of iambrick own design. I appreciate the effort, though custom-style figures will probably be polarizing since most builders are so used to traditional LEGO-style minifigures.

The build itself has a lot going for it. The castle uses an open-back design with interior details, and it is hinged so it can open up to 180 degrees or close into a more square, enclosed castle shape. The decorations are printed pieces, not stickers, which is always a big plus. The parts are made by Go Bricks, and the quality is very close to official LEGO pieces in terms of feel, clutch, and finish. The set also comes in numbered bags, uses familiar colors and part designs, and the instruction book has a premium feel with a matte cover, perfect binding, and well-paced steps that should be easy for most builders to follow.

One improvement I noticed compared with some other iambrick sets is the color clarity in the instructions. I e had trouble in the past telling the difference between dark blue and black, but that issue is much less noticeable here because the set avoids using too many nearly identical dark colors right next to each other.

My main complaint is the scaffolding section. It uses thin tube-like pieces that bend too easily, so my kid can really place figures on that area without it collapsing. Maybe it was intended to look like broken or unstable scaffolding, but from a playability standpoint, sturdier pieces that read as wooden supports would have made more sense.

Other than that, this is a strong set. The small bits of character dialogue in the instruction book are a nice touch, the printed pieces look good, and at around $100, it feels like a good value for the size of the castle and the large piece count. Overall, it a high-quality, well-presented castle build with one questionable design choice.

Looks good but had some quality issues.

This set looks great once completed but there are a few issues I had. The parts are compatible with Lego but aren't to the same quality. The bricks are hard to snap together. It takes a lot of force to get them right. After awhile this caused my hands to cramp. Also once you get longer parts together there is a slight curve and it doesn't sit perfectly flat. The instructions were decent but in spots they could be hard to understand. Once done it is very neat and fits in with any midevil themed setup you might have. The figures that come with it are also nothing like Lego figs so if you are putting it with other actual Lego sets you might want to get new figs. I do like how it has a back story and history in the book for the set. It isn't a horrible set but for the price I was hoping for way better quality.
