An Ancient Dragon Above a Forgotten Treasure
Dragon's Cryptic Cache is a 2,363-piece fantasy dragon building set designed for adult builders, mythical-creature collectors, and fans of treasure-filled fantasy scenes. The model combines a large dragon, rocky architecture, an ancient hidden cache, layered terrain, and dramatic vertical display design.
The completed build creates the atmosphere of a forgotten location where treasure, ancient ruins, and a powerful mythical guardian have remained undisturbed for generations.
The Treasure No One Could Claim
Long before the kingdoms of Gridera recorded their histories, an enormous treasure was sealed inside a remote mountain refuge.
Many adventurers followed fragments of old maps in search of the cache, but none returned with its riches. Some blamed the dangerous terrain. Others spoke of traps, monsters, and passages that changed whenever someone entered.
The truth waited above the ruins: a dragon had made the hidden cache its home, guarding the treasure from every traveler brave enough to approach.
Large Fantasy Dragon Display
The dragon forms the visual center of the model, creating a powerful mythical-creature display above the treasure environment.
Its size, elevated position, wings, body shaping, and dramatic silhouette give the completed model strong shelf presence from multiple viewing angles.
Hidden Treasure Environment
Rock formations, ancient structural elements, concealed areas, and treasure details create the appearance of a location that has remained untouched for centuries.
Builders can explore the different levels of the scene and discover how the dragon, ruins, and treasure cache connect within one complete fantasy environment.
Layered Vertical Construction
The model uses height to separate the underground treasure area, rocky middle sections, and dragon display above.
This layered layout creates a substantial finished model while allowing the different parts of the story to remain visible from the front and sides.
A Challenging Adult Building Experience
With 2,363 pieces and an assembled height of 53 cm, Dragon's Cryptic Cache offers a longer building project than a typical compact creature model.
The combination of organic dragon shaping, rocky terrain, structural sections, and detailed treasure areas provides variety throughout the construction process.

The set is massive ! Very good building technics and brick quality. The infinite mirror is a real added value, and is easy to put in place. I definitely recommand this set.

This Three-Headed Hellbound Building set is huge. It is a 2,317 piece building set. This set is Cerberus of the Inferno.
The set comes with I very detailed instruction manual with the history of the set. The pieces are divided out into numbered bags that go with the instructions. This is a large piece that takes some time to complete but is well worth it. The necessary battery is included with the set. The pieces are high quality with vivid realistic colors and no burrs. They are easy to put together.
I am surprised that the applicable age listed is 8+. I’m 59 and need help. I would recommend for ages 12+ if doing it alone. 8+ as a family project.
Keeps falling apart. Many of the pieces don’t grip well, while others do, making it almost poseable- but then one spends hours repairing, even gluing.
I love the appearance and the potential, but cannot display it as I would like to because it keeps falling apart.
The description says "highly playable" but now that I finally have him positioned on the gate, I'm afraid to breathe too hard around it. Thank goodness the base is sturdy because the hound certainly has some weight to him. At first when I got done, I tried to put him in standing position and....let's just say repairs took an extra day.
The instructions were amazing and the pieces fit together well. All lights work as expected (though the "heart" is a pain to get to once assembled) and the wires don't feel as fragile as some I've encountered in other builds. Overall, I'm very glad I bought this one.
We are in LOVE! Our house is a HUGE Dragon house to the point our toddler is named after a Dragon. So we had to pick this one up. We all loved this build. Not only was it a dream to follow, but it also brought great nostalgia back to the old brick sets with some of the pieces. I love the infinity effect, the hubs loves the clever use of the lighting, and my toddler cannot get enough of the massive Dragon! It is so well built and for the price we can't wait to build another one!

The box was badly damaged.
This sea-dragon building set is freaking awesome! And let's be real, "Leviathan's Rage" is a wicked name. The pieces are well made, incredibly detailed, and the direction "booklet" is easy to follow. I've only just begun, but I can already see just how cool this is going to look wherever we decide to display it. I think it might actually be too big to fit on our mantle! The age recommendation is 14+, which I think is pretty accurate, just because of the sheer scale of the thing.
For a building set that is very similar to the big block brand and has over 2,200 pieces, the price is very reasonable (at the time of this review). You typically see builds half this size going for the same price. Highly recommend!
Many missing pieces, some pieces were the wrong kind for the columns. I would advise against this product for the amount of insanity it has put me through with the missing pieces and the flimsy build
This is a nice dragon set however the black dragon itself is really flimsy. Good luck trying to put the dragon on the support poles. Parts keep falling since they do not put together well. I will have to do some altercation with lego pieces so dragon won't fall apart. The dragon is bigger than I expected.
I collect dragons, so was thrilled to find this one to add to my brick-built shelf. The details and pose-ability of the dragon are great, so I was able to re-position the dragon to fit in amongst the others.
I love when a set comes with the lights included so I don't have to look for a separate lighting kit, and can't wait to show off the mirror feature to visitors. The tiny trees by his feet are a nice touch as well!
Seems a bit expensive for a non-banded set, but there was a $30 off coupon available when I got mine, so that did make a difference. I'm happy with the product overall.
Terrible instructions (the pictures were so dark that you couldn't see the features of the pieces well) - flimsy build - many missing pieces - I do not recommend - especially for the price of this set. I have ordered many brands that were not Lego, and this is the worse one I have received.
In the end I didn't use the base unit and only kept the sea serpent. I didn't like the look of the base unit and once the serpent was attached it was just too flimsy to touch. The only plus that I can say is that the serpent itself is terrific and I have it displayed.
Update: I can't say enough about the customer service. They reached out to me and offered a satisfactory response to my issues. I have changed my rating to 4 stars from 2. I will try ordering from them again.
I picked up this Deep Sea Dragon set as a longer, display-focused build rather than a quick afternoon project. With over 2200 pieces, it’s a satisfying, multi-session build that slowly comes together into a detailed dragon with lots of small shapes and textures along the body, wings, and base. The build itself is engaging and a bit intricate at times, which is great if you like following detailed instructions and seeing the structure take shape layer by layer. The only real drawbacks are that it does take up some space to assemble, and sections with many small pieces can be a little fragile if handled roughly or moved often, so care must be used consistently.
Pros:
- Clearly printed, Lego-style instructions
- High piece count makes for a lengthy, satisfying build
- Finished dragon has a striking, display-ready fantasy look
- Plenty of small details and textures keep the build process interesting
Cons:
- Takes up a fair amount of shelf or desk space once assembled
- Some detailed sections are a bit delicate; use care when adding pieces on
- Expensive for Off Brand Build Kit
