The Last Fuel Stop in the Wasteland

Doomsday Gas Station is a 2,043-piece post-apocalyptic building set designed for adult builders, wasteland collectors, and fans of detailed survival outposts. An abandoned roadside gas station has been transformed into a multi-level base combining fuel storage, vehicle repair, supplies, accommodation, and perimeter defense.

With its ruined industrial appearance, illuminated interiors, movable repair arm, off-road vehicle, three-story structure, and two survivor characters, the finished model creates a complete post-apocalyptic environment rather than a simple abandoned building.

A Light Still Burning

After the collapse of the communication network, fuel became one of the wasteland’s most valuable resources. Most gas stations were abandoned, stripped, or destroyed—but one remote station remained operational.

Its two survivors rebuilt the damaged structure into a place where travelers could refuel, repair their vehicles, exchange supplies, and rest before returning to the dangerous roads.

At night, the station’s warm lights can still be seen across the empty landscape. For those lost in the wasteland, it is more than a fuel stop—it is proof that someone is still keeping the road alive.

Three-Level Survival Outpost

The model features three connected levels, each serving a different purpose within the station.

Ground Floor: Abandoned convenience store, fuel station, vehicle service area, supplies, and roadside equipment.

Second Floor: Mechanical repair workshop containing tools, replacement parts, storage, and equipment for maintaining wasteland vehicles.

Top Floor: Elevated watch post with communication and observation equipment for monitoring the surrounding roads.

Movable Repair Arm

The articulated mechanical arm can be repositioned for fueling, lifting, and repair operations. Its industrial construction reinforces the improvised nature of the station, where old machinery has been adapted for survival.

Wasteland Off-Road Vehicle

The included off-road vehicle allows the survivors to travel beyond the safety of the station in search of fuel, supplies, spare parts, and other settlements.

It can be displayed beside the fuel pumps, positioned inside the repair area, or used to extend the story beyond the main building.

Integrated Lighting System

The lighting system illuminates key sections of the station and creates a warm, lived-in atmosphere against the damaged industrial exterior.

When displayed in lower light, the illuminated windows, work areas, and watch post give the model the appearance of an active survival base operating through the night.

Detailed Wasteland Environment

Abandoned containers, pipes, mechanical equipment, warning signs, fuel accessories, tools, signal equipment, and worn industrial structures fill the scene with realistic post-apocalyptic details.

The narrow vertical design also provides strong display presence without requiring an excessively wide shelf.

High Quality and Massive Sized Set

First and most importantly, this comes from iambrick and having done several of their sets before, the quality here is outstanding. Nothing feels cheap and the parts fit tight (well, so far, as I'm only a half dozen bags in.) Second, this is a massive set. The manual runs 180+ pages and what is cool here is there's a bit of a storyline with the two characters to make the building a bit more interesting. I had two other sets to build during free time this summer and this one went to the front of the line, it's that cool.

A richly detailed post apocalyptic gas station packed with character

This post apocalyptic gas station build captures the grimy, makeshift aesthetic extremely well. Designed at minifigure scale, it works beautifully as a playset, with detailed interiors, a vehicle and several figures that give you plenty to interact with. The overall presentation feels lively and full of character, and the included lighting kit adds a welcome layer of atmosphere once everything is assembled.

The components are good quality, and the instructions are well paced and clearly illustrated, which makes the build enjoyable from start to finish. One of the standout surprises is the number of printed elements. Aside from the three main gas station signs, everything else is printed, including small signage, maps, bottles and product boxes. These details go a long way toward making the environment feel lived in and visually rich.

The finished model invites exploration, with enough nooks, props and interactive elements to keep it interesting long after the build is complete. It succeeds both as a display piece and as a hands‑on playset, and the combination of printed parts and lighting gives it a strong presence on a shelf.

Really fun unique piece

This was a really fun and quick build. I really love the theme of this set being doomsday. There were a lot of really fun details in this set. The pieces snapped together well and the instructions are clear. I finished this set very quickly and enjoyed building it. I really like that the walls open up and you can see inside. At the time of this review, it was listed around $100 which is comparable to the leading brand. I think this is a unique piece that you can't get with other brands.

Very fun set

This set was pretty straightforward to assemble with no overly repetitive or confusing instructions. The brick quality is equivalent to the major brand, and the addition of integrated lighting makes it really shine (pun intended). There's a ton of little details all throughout the model that bring it to life. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, with my total build time coming in around six hours.
One of the biggest challenges in adding light to any model is routing the wires without changing how the model fits together. This kit has that planned out from the start and includes special bricks to help hide most of the wiring. The mix of colors and textures used though the model make it believable as a post-apocalyptic fueling station.
The minifigures included are the only weak point to the kit. They're a little odd looking, but they are original designs that don't step on the other guy's copyright. I'll probably remove them from the display completely or replace them with some that don't look like cast-outs from Duploville.
I'm not the biggest fan of the genre that this kit drew inspiration from, but it looks fantastic and I'm very pleased to have the opportunity to build it.

Detailed and stunning set for fans of Post-Apoc!

For a couple years I helped organize large-scale Lego displays specifically in the post-apocalyptic category, so I’ve had perhaps more chance than most to dwell in this world and think about what can be done with bricks and MOCs. When I saw this set, I knew that the set designer clearly loved the post-apoc genre and was creating something special. The set captures the vibe perfectly … stacked, hastily-repaired buildings, makeshift communication and utility towers, ladders and other signage littering the build. The design is fantastic. I built a few iambrick sets and their bricks are supplied by Go Bricks, generally considered the best among alt bricks. The parts come in numbered bags, are compatible with Lego, and use familiar part colors/designs. I appreciate the inclusion of their own minifigures (they look different than Lego’s), but the designs may be polarizing since we’re all so used to seeing the classic Lego minifig. The decorations are a mix of printed parts and stickers, which is a little odd. I wish they were all prints. There is a light kit included too, perhaps for the first time in an iambrick set. The kit has custom lighted elements that feed back to a hub, which is powered by a battery box (BYO batteries, which I believe are AAA). They also include special bricks with grooves in them to help you hid and run the wires within the build. As with most alt brick sets with lights, you integrate the lights as you build the structure (not after you build the model). Yielding a far better lighted model. The instructions come in a matte-cover, perfect-bound book with good color printing. On past sets from this brand, the dark blue color was too close to black, and this set doesn’t seem to suffer from that issue.

Best in Class...A stunning post-apocalyptic masterpiece and perhaps ~ favorite build of all time…

This is my fifth Brixelion (IAMBRICK) set, and I keep coming back because they consistently deliver some of the most creative, original, and visually striking building experiences available today.

After completing over 30 building block sets during the past year, I can confidently say this is my favorite build to date.

The moment I finished the Doomsday Gas Station and switched on the lighting kit, I knew this one was special.
The post-apocalyptic theme is executed exceptionally well. Every angle reveals another detail: the weathered gas station sign, rooftop solar panels, communication tower, robotic repair arm, scattered debris, overgrown vegetation, maintenance workshop, survivor outpost, a dirt bike motorcycle and the included off-road vehicle.
The entire scene feels like a snapshot from a dystopian movie or video game brought to life in brick form.

What truly elevates this set above most others is the atmosphere. The integrated LED lighting transforms the model into a display piece that demands attention. During the evening hours, the illuminated gas station sign, glowing fuel pumps, and subtle interior lighting create a dramatic presentation that photographs beautifully and becomes an instant conversation piece.

The building experience was equally enjoyable. The instruction manual is excellent, which has been my experience with every Brixelion set I've built. Steps are clearly illustrated, easy to follow, and thoughtfully organized. For a set containing more than 2,000 pieces, the build remains engaging from start to finish without becoming frustrating or repetitive.

Another pleasant surprise was the number of pad printed elements included. Aside from the three primary gas station signs, nearly everything else appears to be printed rather than stickered. Small warning signs, maps, labels, crates, and other decorative details all help bring the scene to life and add a premium feel to the finished model.

If I had one minor criticism, it involves the folding lawn chair on the second level. The instructions show one of the minifigures seated in the chair, but I simply could not get the figure positioned without the chair repeatedly falling apart. It's a very small issue in the grand scheme of things, and I ultimately displayed the minifigure standing beside the chair instead.

At roughly $107, this set delivers tremendous value. Frankly, if this were displayed in a hobby shop at $150 or more, I would still consider it a worthwhile purchase based on the size, complexity, lighting package, printed elements, originality, and overall visual impact.

This is one of those rare builds where the finished display exceeds the enjoyment of the building process itself. This is the truth. When I walk past it, I often find myself stopping for another look.

Final thoughts...

✔️ Exceptional visual display with incredible shelf presence.
✔️ Outstanding post-apocalyptic design packed with detail and storytelling.
✔️ Integrated LED lighting dramatically enhances the finished model.
✔️ Excellent instruction manual with a smooth, enjoyable build experience.
✔️ Includes a detailed off-road vehicle, a dirt bike and minifigures that complement the scene.
✔️ Extensive use of printed elements rather than stickers.
✔️ Outstanding value for the price.
➖ Folding lawn chair and minifigure placement proved frustrating and difficult to assemble as shown in the instructions.
⭐️1 star — I don't endorse this at all, poor quality.
⭐️⭐️ 2 stars — I don't endorse it: has multiple faults, or significantly overpriced.
⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars — It's passable: it has some faults, some compromises, but the quality is acceptable for what it is.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars — Product quite acceptable, and it does what it promises.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars — Product that I totally endorse. Blown away. Drop everything and buy it!

Really cool and fun to put together

As someone with over 100 LEGO sets in my collection, I’m pretty picky about building block kits, and this one was a fantastic build. The finished model is much larger than I expected and has an incredible amount of detail packed into it. Once assembled, it makes a really impressive display piece.

One of my favorite things about this set is all the hidden spaces and secret little areas tucked throughout the building. It was fun discovering them during the build, and they add a lot of character to the finished model. The post-apocalyptic gas station theme is unique, and there are tons of details to explore on all three levels.

The included LED lights really bring the build to life, especially in a dim room. The bricks fit together well, the instructions were easy to follow, and the completed structure feels sturdy.

Fun Build with Incredible Details

This building set was so much fun to put together. The post apocalyptic gas station theme is different from the usual city buildings and it’s packed with little details that keep you noticing something new. The lighting adds a really cool touch once everything is assembled, especially in a darker room, and the finished model looks amazing on display. The pieces fit together well and the instructions were clear enough to follow without getting frustrated. It does take some time because there are over 2,000 pieces, but that’s part of the fun if you enjoy larger builds. This would make a great gift for anyone who loves building sets or unique display pieces.

Coolest building set on the market today

How cool is this? Very, very cool. Extremely cool. Apocalyptically cool. This kit is such an amazing diversion from the normal building kits you see like cars and planes and dinosaurs. This is straight out of every apocalyptic movie and story and it is absolutely brilliant. The only thing that could make it cooler would be an army of mutated, bullet-proof cockroaches or a massive metal truck with rotating sets of wheels. Although, to be fair, it's cool enough as it is and I may be spending too much time digging through dystopian literature.
The level of details in here is astounding. It's a full-on gas station with a repair shop and a convenience store and a fully functional crane. The little bits about selling gas and hope and the last chance for gas sign are wonderful. The instructions were top notch, no missing pieces, and the final product is super cool and ready for your own custom-built madcap creations.

Iambrick does NOT disappoint!

This set is awesome! The lighting is great, the details are many (so many details!) and it is fun to build! The store level has little details and touches that just make it come to life! The crane arm is cool and the tower is lit perfectly. Most of the decorated parts are printed, but the few that aren't are easy to apply and forgiving.

Iambrick delivers an amazing set.

This is my second kit from Iambrick and both have been fantastic. This set is larger and contains multiple strings of lights.
Brick quality is lovely. They are sturdy, heavy duty, and hold together very well. Color is even with no noticeable differences between pieces.
The instructions are clear, concise, and easily followed. The instruction booklet is massive, nearing 400 pages, and besides instructions, contains a short narrative throughout between the included characters.
This set is large. The finished piece is close to two feet tall. It is a modular set and all three floors can be separated and displayed with their interior lighting. Each of the floors has extensive furniture and other accessories.
There are no stickers in this set, all decorated pieces are printed and very high quality.
The only issue I have with this set is that when it was nearly finished it somehow managed to slide off of my table while I was in the next room and it shattered everywhere. I spent far too much of my afternoon finding pieces across the room.

2043 Pieces of Post-Apocalyptic Awesomeness

This is easily one of the coolest building sets I've put together. The post-apocalyptic gas station concept is incredibly well done, with tons of little details that make the finished model feel like an actual scene rather than just a building. Between the old gas pumps, communications tower, workshop, mechanical arm, solar panels, signs, vehicle and little survivor figures, there is something interesting to look at from practically every angle.

The 2,000+ piece count also makes this a substantial project. I especially love the vertical design and all the different levels, because you gradually build an entire little wasteland world rather than assembling one big rectangular structure. The lighting takes it to another level once everything is finished and makes all those tiny interior spaces and industrial details stand out beautifully.

This is definitely aimed more at someone who enjoys a longer, detailed build, but the finished result is absolutely worth displaying. It has that wonderfully grimy retro-futuristic survival aesthetic without feeling like a generic knockoff of anything in particular. Creative, elaborate, weird, and ridiculously fun. I LOVE this set.

Immersive Post-Apocalyptic Building Set with Incredible Detail

This building set offers a fun and rewarding project for anyone who enjoys detailed construction models and post-apocalyptic themes. With over 2,000 pieces, it provides hours of engaging building while resulting in an impressive display piece that's full of character.

One of the standout features is the three-level design. Each floor has its own unique purpose, from the abandoned gas station and convenience store to the workshop and lookout post, creating a scene that feels alive with storytelling opportunities.

The amount of detail throughout the model is impressive. Elements like weathered containers, mechanical equipment, solar panels, and the signal tower all contribute to the rugged survival atmosphere, making it enjoyable to discover new details even after the build is complete.

I also appreciate the integrated lighting system. It adds an extra level of realism by creating a moody, post-apocalyptic ambiance that makes the finished model stand out even more on a shelf or display cabinet.

The interactive features add plenty of play value as well. The movable robotic repair arm, off-road vehicle, and survivor minifigures encourage creative storytelling while giving the model more than just static display appeal.

The quality of the building pieces is another highlight. The bricks fit together securely, and the instructions are well organized, making the assembly process enjoyable for both experienced builders and those tackling a larger project for the first time.

Once completed, the model has an impressive presence and works equally well as a collectible display piece for a home office, hobby room, or gaming area.

Overall, this is a highly detailed and creative building set that combines engaging construction, interactive features, and outstanding display value. It's an excellent choice for builders who enjoy immersive themes and want a unique centerpiece for their collection.
